Bowtackle
This company aims to disrupt traditional hunting & fishing equipment sales by prioritizing local dealers in an online marketplace. Transparency and communication is essential to this exchange and I was tasked with building an AI chat interface for the site as well as improving the overall user experience.
Some other elements that needed to be drafted, evaluated and built were:
Filters and search elements so users can sift through messages and find specific things
Indications for read vs unread messages
Icons to represent messages with attached documents or images
Dates for when the messages were most recently updated
Building a chat interface requires more than just a pop-up chat box.
Depicted here is an inbox built to display and house messages as they accumulate.
I designed a draft of a digital artifact for Bowtackle that users would be able to download.
This artifact would be a pdf that would display information compiled from the conversation with the AI chatbot.

By having this concrete document users would feel more confident about their interaction with a non-human entity.
I'm still working with this company on new initiatives before they go through another round of fundraising this fall.
